Restaurant Hostess

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.

• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.

• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in accordance with service standards.

• Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate guest preferences, VIPs, and special occasions to the team.

• Respond to guest enquiries and requests, providing accurate information about menus, promotions, and outlet facilities.

• Monitor guest flow, table availability, and waiting times to ensure a smooth dining experience.

• Coordinate closely with the restaurant service team and management to ensure seamless guest service.

• Maintain the hostess area and personal presentation to the highest standards of cleanliness, grooming, and professionalism.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar guest-facing role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable personality.

• Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.

• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations and multiple guest requests efficiently.

• Professional, confident, and well-presented with excellent grooming standards.

• Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment.

• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
