Reports to: Restaurant ManagerPrimary Purpose: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to customers in the Winner's Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior lo opening.
• Greet customers, present menus, inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings, make suggestions, answer questions and take beverage orders.
• Process food and beverage orders In POS system.
• Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner.
• Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer.
• Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions.
• Assist bus staff with stocking, removing and resetting dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed.
• Secure stations at end of shift, return all linens, condiments, dishes, glassware and flatware to appropriate areas.

Education/Certifications: Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma. TABC certification required.

Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in dining and be knowledgeable of the sequence of service and typical dining room procedures.
