Note: This role requires strong hands-on robotics experience. You'll be deploying and debugging real robot systems at customer sites.
What to Expect
As a Robotics Engineer on our Forward Deployment team, you will be the hands-on expert who makes our solutions work on real robot hardware. You'll bridge simulation and reality, ensuring policies trained in our platform perform in customer environments.
What You'll Do
Deploy and tune robot systems at customer sites
Bridge sim-to-real gaps through calibration and adaptation
Debug hardware/software issues on diverse robot platforms
Develop drivers and interfaces for new robot hardware
Provide technical guidance on robotics best practices
What You'll Bring
3-7 years of hands-on robotics experience
Expert-level ROS/ROS2 and C++ skills
Experience with robot controls, planning, or manipulation
Strong hardware debugging skills (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Comfort working on-site at customer locations
Nice to Have
Experience with specific platforms (UR, Franka, mobile bases)
Background in sim-to-real transfer
Familiarity with ML policy deployment on robots
