ROLE SUMMARY

This position is responsible to assist with preparing downhole and drilling equipment for upcoming operations.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for/ensure:

• Conducting all drills and checks as required.

• Preparation for upcoming drilling operations.

• Thorough handovers are provided at each daily change of shift.

• Inspect all tools and equipment prior to use to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

• Actively participate in Well Control drills as required.

• Make certain all loads leaving the rig floor with the crane are slung / rigged correctly and clean.

• Assist in maintaining and running the mud processing solids control equipment.

• Perform regular steel preparation and painting to maintain rig floor equipment and structure.

• Aid with deck operations as and when required

• Assist Derrickman in mud mixing operations when required.

• Any other matters as deemed necessary by Company Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably a bachelor's degree: Hight school degree or equivalent.

• Years of experience: 3 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably 1 year on the position.

SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Computer skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and as a team player. Fluent English desirable.

• As per company training directives.
