Sales Assistant

Are you a customer-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, building relationships and supporting sales in an international business environment? We are looking for a proactive and service-minded Sales Assistant to join Comatec in Romania.

In this role, you will support our sales activities, help identify customer needs and contribute to a smooth, professional customer experience. You will work closely with customers, colleagues and specialists, and you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise in sales, customer relations and industrial services.

Your role

As a Sales Assistant, your work will combine customer communication, sales support and coordination. You will contact potential customers, arrange meetings and participate in customer discussions. You will also help identify customer needs, collect relevant information for the sales organisation and support the proposal process.

You will maintain and update customer data in our CRM, support lead generation and qualification, and help match customer needs with suitable expertise and available specialists. This is a versatile role for someone who enjoys both structured sales support tasks and active communication with customers.

What we expect from you

We hope you have experience in customer service, sales support, inside sales or a similar customer-facing role. A technical or industrial background combined with an interest in sales and customer work is also a good fit for this position.

· Experience using CRM tools and maintaining customer data

· Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer contact

· Ability to learn industrial and consulting service concepts quickly

· A proactive, organised and customer-oriented way of working

· Good cooperation skills and willingness to work as part of an international team

We consider it an advantage if you have

· Previous experience in sales, customer contact or lead generation

· Interest in industrial services, engineering, production, marine or related industries

· Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into customer needs

· Experience working in an international business environment

You are comfortable with outreach and customer meetings, and you are eager to learn, develop and take responsibility. You are a cooperative team player with a positive attitude and an interest in growing towards sales, account management or business development.
