Sales Development Associate

A leading delivery company in Iraq is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Associate to join its team in Basra. The role focuses on acquiring new merchants and business clients, generating sales opportunities, building strong commercial relationships, and contributing directly to the company’s growth and sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new merchants and potential business clients.
• Conduct cold calls, outbound calls, and proactive sales outreach.
• Research and identify new business opportunities within the market.
• Present the company’s delivery services and solutions to potential clients.
• Qualify leads and convert prospects into active merchants.
• Follow up consistently with leads throughout the sales cycle.
• Negotiate with potential clients and effectively communicate the value of the company’s services.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with merchants.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information through the CRM.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and service delivery.
• Monitor sales opportunities and ensure timely follow-up.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Acquisition, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident personality with strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Strong customer-oriented and relationship-building skills.
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, e-commerce, or related industries is a plus.
