About this role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and develop sales operations within the paints and coatings sector. Requirements

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and annual sales plans aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Define sales targets, channel strategies, and growth priorities across showroom (B2C) and B2B segments.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor positioning to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify new market opportunities, geographic expansion areas, and high-potential customer segments.

Sales Operations & Execution

  • Oversee and manage sales performance across all company showrooms (B2C retail sales), regardless of number or location.
  • Lead and manage **B2B and project-based sales operations **, including contractors, corporate clients, and distributors.
  • Supervise showroom sales teams and ensure consistent sales standards, pricing execution, and customer experience.
  • Implement pricing strategies, promotions, and sales campaigns across all sales channels.

Relationship & Channel Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, project owners, consultants, and key retail customers.
  • Strengthen distribution and dealer networks to increase market coverage and sales penetration.
  • Coordinate closely with technical, supply chain, and logistics teams to support sales objectives.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Monitor sales KPIs, showroom performance, and channel profitability.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic market insights for management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sales practices, and brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of sales experience, preferably within **paints, coatings, construction materials, or related industries **.
  • Proven experience in sales strategy development and execution.
  • Strong background in managing showroom (retail) sales and ** B2B / project-based sales **.
  • Solid understanding of the Iraqi market, including retail, contractor, and project channels.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Good command of Arabic and English.
