Duties/ Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Operations

  • Manage the daily operations of the Sales Department, including sales administration and inventory oversight.
  • Lead, supervise, motivate, and evaluate sales personnel to maintain high performance standards and achieve departmental goals.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to sales agents, including assisting with prospect management and closing sales when necessary.
  • Ensure the fair and effective distribution of walk-in and telephone inquiries among sales agents.
  • Monitor and review the prospecting activities and sales performance of all sales agents.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve inventory movement and increase sales performance.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans, sales strategies, social media, and digital marketing initiatives that are aligned with budgeted sales targets to strengthen brand/ market visibility, increase customer engagement, and drive revenue growth.
  • Interface with prospective developers and investors to assess project viability, including financial capability, experience, and alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide initial information and guidance regarding available development opportunities and housing areas.

Inventory & Strategic Planning

  • Recommend inventory planning, pricing strategies, and sales phasing based on market demand and business objectives.
  • Evaluate proposed development projects in accordance with the company’s master and strategic plans.
  • Recommend suitable locations, lot configurations, and development timelines for proposed projects.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and submit monthly sales reports and related management reports.
  • Prepare initial Letters of Offer for management review and execution following approval of proposed projects.
  • Liaise with contracted developers and provide reasonable assistance on project-related matters to support successful implementation and ongoing viability.

Education, Certification, License & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales management, real estate sales, business development, or a related field. BREA Certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in inventory planning, market analysis, and strategic sales initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales reporting systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods and to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Must have the ability to bend, and flexibility with leg, arms, hand, and finger movements.
