The Securities Investment Advisor provides the sales component of Capital Markets within the Business Development, Financial Advisory Department. The Department is responsible for educating clients and prospective clients about RF Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Limited’s offerings and capital markets while securing sales based on established targets.


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of the investment environment in the Bahamas
  • Establish client's Investment needs and identify suitable investment solutions
  • Ability to analyze and communicate Income Funds, Balanced Funds and Equity funds
  • Present US Dollar Investment options available to Bahamians
  • Prepare proposals that address education and retirement Investment requirements
  • Establish prospect for new clients
  • Determine risk tolerance of clients
  • Maintain proper documentation on investment actions taken on behalf of clients
  • Remain accessible to clients and provides information as it relates to investment product offerings
  • Prepares monthly reports for review by senior management
  • Any other related duties that may be assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Series 7 Qualification Preferred
  • 2-3 years' Experience in a Sales
  • Previous Sales Experience in Private Banking Sector is an Asset
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to create and develop strategies to grow business
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision. but within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
