Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming environment while helping address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Support a professional, controlled environment by communicating clearly with personnel and following applicable healthcare facility protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
