Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Response Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor registrations, and authorization requirements before allowing entry to restricted areas.
• Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, issue and collect access badges, and report discrepancies according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
