Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarm panel activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and parking customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, parking-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, vehicle access points, pedestrian walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe traffic flow, and provide directions or assistance to customers and visitors as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
