Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, contractors, deliveries, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
