You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain an orderly environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
