Job Description

As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Driver in Saratoga Springs, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help support a welcoming environment while addressing security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials, visitor registrations, and contractor requirements in accordance with site policies.
• Maintain accurate access-control and visitor records, issue and collect credentials as assigned, and report discrepancies through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
