Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Services in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):Candidates must demonstrate prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and deactivating access badges.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):Candidates should have experience working with alarm panel systems, including installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of various alarm systems and protocols is essential.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues. Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Manage access control points by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor entry, issuing temporary access badges, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor access control systems, alarms, cameras, and communications equipment, reporting suspicious activity, access issues, and equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
