Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Coordination in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify access, greet visitors, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Navigating various software applications
  • Utilizing email and communication tools
  • Conducting online research
  • Completing data entry tasks

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Candidates must possess prior customer service experience. This includes:

  • Engaging with customers in a professional manner
  • Resolving customer inquiries and issues effectively
  • Demonstrating strong communication skills
  • Understanding customer needs and providing appropriate solutions

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen deliveries and coordinate vehicle, vendor, and contractor access in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
