As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using teamwork and integrity to reflect Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

a. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):

• All candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets as part of the pre-employment assessment.
• Candidates should be able to navigate email platforms, utilize productivity software, and manage digital communication effectively.
• Training resources will be provided to assist candidates in enhancing their digital skills if necessary.

b. Customer Service Experience (B219):

• Candidates must possess relevant customer service experience, which may include roles in retail, hospitality, or any position requiring direct interaction with clients or customers.
• During the hiring process, candidates will be evaluated on their ability to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional service through email correspondence.
• Examples of previous customer service scenarios should be prepared for discussion during interviews.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare-related pharmaceutical environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Help support a controlled environment by reporting observed conditions, policy concerns, and maintenance-related issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
