Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts and suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and contacting emergency services or management as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
