Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Minnetonka, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
