Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol Driver in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, spills, leaks, or policy violations to designated site personnel, and complete accurate incident and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
