You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and support badge access processes while delivering customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry and exit, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with the protection of merchandise, equipment, and facilities by observing for unusual activity, reporting policy violations, and following established post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
