Job Description

As a Security Officer Site Response in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a healthcare education location, helping to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to campus buildings and designated areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas, documenting observations and reporting maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
