Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Activity Reporting in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet tools as needed while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing pedestrian and vehicle traffic, verifying authorized entry as directed, and documenting visitor, driver, and delivery activity.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly, communicating observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
