Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a technology-focused college environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. You will support security-related operations through clear communication and routine reporting while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, technology areas, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
