Senior Accountant

A growing boutique CSP in Malta is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional to take on responsibility, mentor junior team members, and develop their career in a dynamic environment.

This is a hybrid role and offers a salary of up to €35K.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage a varied client portfolio
• Mentor and coach junior accountants, reviewing and quality-checking their work
• Plan and coordinate client deliverables
• Provide management with portfolio updates and assist in monitoring team performance
• Lead the preparation of management accounts according to relevant accounting frameworks
• Prepare clients’ VAT Returns and Recap Declarations

Skills & Experience

• Fully qualified accountant
• 3+ years of local work experience
• Foundational knowledge of local VAT regulations
• Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
