We are now looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer / Architect to take a key role in building and adapting an enterprise-grade agentic AI platform for the European environment.

You will work at the intersection of AI, cloud, platform engineering, and architecture, taking ownership of how shared AI capabilities are securely deployed, integrated, and scaled across enterprise systems.

This is the right role for someone who wants to go beyond building individual AI applications and help shape the platform that enables others to build them.

About the role

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer / Architect, you will own the European platform architecture and act as a technical bridge between application teams, IT infrastructure, and a global platform engineering organization.

You will work across the full platform landscape — from agent runtimes, model gateways, connectors, and SDKs to cloud infrastructure, IAM, APIs, and enterprise data.

A central part of the role is turning a shared global AI platform into something that works securely and reliably within European technical and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve the reference architecture for agent runtimes, model gateways, connectors, tooling, and SDKs

• Deploy and operate AI platform services on cloud-native infrastructure

• Adapt shared platform components to European security, compliance, and data requirements

• Integrate AI platform services with identity providers, internal APIs, and enterprise data platforms

• Define secure patterns for RAG, vector search, enterprise search, and knowledge systems

• Work with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, IAM, networking, and observability

• Provide reusable platform patterns and SDKs for application engineering teams

• Guide architecture decisions and help engineers solve complex platform integration challenges

• Collaborate across international engineering teams to align architecture, compatibility, and technical direction

What we’re looking for

You have a strong background in software, cloud, or platform architecture combined with hands-on experience building modern AI systems.

We believe you bring:

• 5+ years of experience within software, cloud, or platform architecture

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLM platforms, agentic AI, RAG, or production AI services

• Strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript

• Solid experience with APIs and distributed systems

• Cloud-native engineering experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability

• Working knowledge of IAM, networking, secrets management, and secure API design

• Practical understanding of LLM inference, tool calling, embeddings, vector search, evaluation, and guardrails

• Experience collaborating across distributed engineering teams

• Professional fluency in English

• GDPR-aware architecture and European data-residency requirements

• The technical implications of the EU AI Act

• Automotive, mobility, or manufacturing environments

• LangChain / LangGraph

• Semantic Kernel

• Major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
