Senior Consultant – Operating Model & Change

Optima Partners is a fast‑growing professional services firm helping leading organisations transform customer engagement at the intersection of marketing, technology, and data. As we scale from 80 to 200 people, we’re growing our Customer Strategy & Engagement consulting team. We work with major brands including Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Nationwide, Aviva, Virgin Media O2, BT, Centrica, and GSK.

We're looking for aSenior Consultant with strong consulting or industry experience in customer engagement, marketing or transformation who can think strategically while delivering practical outcomes. You’ll bring expertise in operating model design, stakeholder engagement, and driving change along with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear actionable solutions. A confident communicator with a commercial mindset, you’re comfortable working with senior stakeholders, leading workshops and operating in fast-paced environments where collaboration, adaptability and a focus on measurable impact are key.

Experience in consulting or advisory roles within marketing transformation, CRM or customer engagement.

• Strong understanding of operating model design and organisational change

• Ability to think strategically while delivering practical actionable outcomes

• Confident stakeholder manager and comfortable working with senior leaders

• Skilled in facilitating workshops and conducting stakeholder interviews

• Experience translating complex challenges into clear recommendations

• Commercial mindset with a focus on measurable business impact

• Collaborative, adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced environments

• 5–10 years’ experience in consulting or a relevant in-house role

• Expertise in customer engagement, marketing, or transformation initiatives

• Strong capability in operating model design and strategic roadmap development

• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with credibility

• Experience leading workshops and facilitating discussions

• Ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable solutions

• Balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery focus

• Capability of thriving in fast-paced, collaborative environments with a drive to deliver meaningful change
