Optimiza is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to lead and enhance our cybersecurity initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits to identify potential threats and areas for improvement.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Manage incident response processes, ensuring timely detection, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
- Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and regulatory requirements to keep the organization ahead of emerging risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, risk management, and compliance to integrate security into all business processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior cybersecurity staff, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Represent the cybersecurity function in executive meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of comprehensive experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on strategy, risk management, and incident handling.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and others.
- Proven experience in leading cybersecurity projects and managing incident response.
- Strong expertise in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly preferred.
