Senior Design Engineer (Automotive)

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with system architect on new product definitions.
2. Carry out development activities from design, layout, simulation to validation.
3. Layout supervision and verification.
4. Preparation of test plan.
5. Product characterization.
6. Support bench evaluation both at the silicon level and application level.
7. Documentation.
8. Behavioral modeling of analog and mixed-mode circuits.
9. Develop leadership on the domain of skill and actions.
10. Coach junior team members on design knowledge and way of working.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. MSEE.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience of analog design.
3. Experience in power switch design and production is preferred.
4. Extensive experience in switching DCDC regulators design e.g. multi-phase buck, boost and buck-boost converters. Deep understanding of different control architectures.
5. Understanding of Mix-signal IC design.
6. Knowledge of device physics and process technologies that are applicable to Power IC design.
7. Creative thinker with capability of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems.
8. Excellent written and oral communications with experience in specification creation, technical report writing and test plans / instructions.
9. Expertise in HSPICE/PSPICE/Spectre simulator.
10. Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
11. Team player with ability of working in a cross-functional-team environment.
