Senior Integration and Test Engineer

Join our fast-paced and passionate team as a Principal Integration and Test Engineer. As we scale, you will be instrumental in building our foundation from the ground up. This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. You'll have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, work closely with leadership, and develop and implement engineering practices that support our mission and growth. This role sits on the Reliability Engineering and Product team. Your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Lead hands-on product integration activities for Monarch Quantum’s quantum light engines.
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and photonics assemblies into server rack form-factor systems. Manage electrical and optical cabling in complete product assemblies.
• Organize and track ordered materials, ensuring all components are ready for integration. Work with operations team to define and implement hardware intake and kitting processes.
• Identify risks and work with project engineering teams to unblock items and ensure integration projects remain on schedule.
• Support reliability testing activities by setting up tests utilizing lasers, photonic components, and photonic modules. Build test infrastructure that will support reliability test scale-up.

Requirements

• This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in test engineering and hardware integration.
• Experience performing tests with laser systems is a plus.
• Machine shop experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Proven record of executing complex tests with lasers and photonic components/modules.
• Understanding of electromechanical system integration (power distribution, active cooling, mechanical robustness, etc.)
• Comfortable working with mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware disciplines.
• Ability to execute projects independently.

Benefits

The expected annual salary range for this position is $125,000-$175,000.
