Responsibilities
- Provide legal support for the Company’s investment products and related business activities;
- Analyze legislation across multiple jurisdictions, including financial, corporate, tax, licensing, and regulatory matters;
- Draft, review, and provide legal expertise for various projects and transactions, including documentation in English;
- Participate in M&A transactions, investment deals, and corporate restructurings;
- Support compliance, AML, and KYC procedures with financial institutions, regulators, and counterparties;
- Prepare legal opinions, memorandums, and advisory notes on a wide range of legal matters;
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues;
- Liaise with foreign corporate service providers, regulators, banks, legal advisers, auditors, agents, and government authorities;
- Coordinate legal aspects of cross-border transactions and ensure compliance with applicable legal frameworks;
- Support licensing processes and legal interactions with financial institutions and regulators.
Requirements
- Law degree;
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience;
- Background in financial regulation, brokerage, or capital markets is an advantage;
- Proven experience with multi-jurisdictional legal frameworks;
- Experience in M&A and/or investment transactions;
- Strong analytical and legal drafting skills;
- Experience interacting with regulators and financial institutions;
- Fluent Russian and English (written and spoken);
- Ability to work independently and manage complex legal matters with a high level of autonomy;
- High work capacity and resilience;
- Proactive mindset, responsibility and accountability.
