What You'll Do
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on multidisciplinary engineering projects while serving as the primary mechanical engineering resource for refinery and industrial clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering activities on refinery and industrial projects
- Design and review process piping systems (ASME B31.1 & B31.3)
- Prepare engineering calculations and code compliance documentation
- Develop equipment specifications and data sheets
- Review pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and rotating equipment
- Lead mechanical design reviews and quality assurance activities
- Coordinate with piping, structural, electrical, civil, and process engineering teams
- Support procurement by preparing bid packages and evaluating vendor proposals
- Participate in field walkdowns, construction support, and startup activities
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Interface directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
