Senior Process Engineer - Oil & Gas (Saudi Arabia)

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for leading process engineering activities for oil & gas projects across all phases, from FEED through detailed engineering and commissioning. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on project execution experience, and solid knowledge of GCC regulatory and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering design for oil & gas facilities (onshore/offshore)
• Develop and review process design basis, PFDs, P&IDs, and process calculations
• Perform simulations, heat & material balance, and equipment sizing
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and GCC client requirements
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and design review studies
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams
• Review vendor documents and provide technical clarifications
• Support construction, commissioning, and start-up activities
• Mentor junior process engineers and provide technical guidance

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15+ years of overall process engineering experience in oil & gas
• At least 5 years of oil & gas project experience within the GCC region
• Strong experience working in EPC / PMC environments

Technical Skills

• Process simulation tools (HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of oil & gas process systems and unit operations
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO)
• Experience in refineries, gas processing, LNG, or upstream facilities
