Senior Product Designer — Growth & Activation | Credit & Cards, Europe (Remote)
AI Summary
Senior Product Designer at Finom, owning end-to-end design for either Growth & Activation (acquisition, onboarding, activation flows) or Credit & Cards (credit application, card issuance, repayment experiences), collaborating with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Research to turn complex financial workflows into simple, trustworthy interfaces.
About this role
We're hiring Senior Product Designers for two of Finom's core product domains: Growth & Activation (acquisition, onboarding, and activation experiences that turn visitors into active customers) and Credit & Cards (credit application, card issuance, and repayment experiences used by real businesses managing real money). This single posting covers both — tell us which domain fits your experience best, or apply if you're open to either; we'll match you to the right team based on your background and portfolio.
In both domains, you'll own design from discovery through delivery, turning complex financial workflows into experiences that are simple, trustworthy, and easy to act on — working closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Research.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities (shared across both domains)
- Own end-to-end design for your domain — from problem framing and research to shipped, polished UI.
- Use research, product data, and customer feedback to guide and defend design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Analysts to scope work and define outcomes.
- Contribute to the design system, improving consistency, accessibility, and craft across the interface.
- Design and optimize acquisition, onboarding, and activation flows across web and app.
- Run experiments with Product and Data (A/B tests, funnel analysis) to improve conversion at each step.
- Work on initiatives like modular pricing and onboarding UX transformation.
- Design credit application, card issuance, and repayment experiences that build trust in complex financial decisions.
- Translate compliance and risk requirements (credit checks, KYC, repayment terms) into clear, honest, usable flows.
- Balance conversion goals with responsible communication of risk and cost to the customer.
