Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

CP Axtra Thailand. CP Axtra is a prominent Thai company that operates the Makro wholesale and Lotus's retail businesses, offering both food and non-food products across various formats and in multiple countries. The company was formerly known as Siam Makro and changed its name in June 2023 to reflect its expanded wholesale and retail businesses.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Advocates for user-centered design solutions
• Conducts user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys
• Creates distinctive, branded digital experiences that are desirable and consistent across multiple platforms, devices and channels
• Develops new product concepts, storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions
• Create wireframe and hi-fidelity prototype
• Creates compelling visual designs that align to company and product brand standards
• Conducts concept and usability testing to iteratively validate and improve design solutions
• Actively collaborates as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately
• Tracks user experience metrics and reports on the success of UX/UI improvements, including analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in product-focused environments.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design process — from research insights to final UI.
• Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Sketch, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Excellent communication skills — able to explain design rationale clearly to non-design audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and system-level thinking.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to create designs that are both beautiful and practical.
• (Bonus) Experience in e-commerce, fintech, or enterprise-scale platforms.
• Able to plan, conduct, and synthesize user research and usability testing
• Skilled at creating interaction design solutions for desktop, web and mobile applications
• Strong visual design skills, able to create compelling, branded, high-fidelity product screens
• Familiar working with design systems that consistently scale across platforms
• Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile
• Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting
• Experience planning and conducting user research at various stages of the design process
