Senior Quality Engineer $70-90k

We are searching for a Senior Quality Engineer for a growing tier 1 automotive supplier. We are searching for an individual with strong problem solving skills who can lead corrective actions and working closely with Tooling and Manufacturing Engineering. This is a "wear a lot of hats" type of role, working in a fast paced, metal stamping environment.

Qualifications

Must have experience in the following areas:

• Manage APQP activities (Drawing reviews, Control Plans, Gage R & R, Capability Studies, etc.)
• Review, prepare and submit PPAP's
• Manage activities associated with launch of new products to ensure all areas (Design, Process, and Quality) have been adequately developed
• Participation in technical reviews during Feasibility as well as during APQP
• Interact directly with suppliers & customers regarding PPAP/APQP issues
• B.S. degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in automotive Quality Engineering role
• Experience with Tier One Automotive manufacturing required
• Experience with TS16949, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, PPAP
