Senior Software Engineer, Dev

Overview

ibex. is looking for an expert Senior Software Engineer interested in building performant API-driven Single-Page-Applications (SPAs). He/She will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience using C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API, .NET Framework, and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
• Strong experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and responsive web application development.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, and Software Architecture.
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, Web Services, and JSON-based integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, and ORM-based application development.
• Experience analyzing legacy applications and recommending appropriate AWS modernization strategies based on business requirements, application dependencies, cost, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Good experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale, multi-tier web applications.
• Experience with Git, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar deployment automation tools.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance across frontend and backend components.
• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies including Scrum, sprint planning, estimation, and iterative delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose complex distributed systems issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively alongside development and security teams.
• A continuous learning mindset with a passion for automation and modern engineering practices.
