Senior Software Engineer, GTM
AI Summary
Builds and iterates on OpenArt Agent and OpenArt Arena, turning generative AI market trends into shipped frontend-heavy products while evaluating image and video generation models. Works end to end with product, design and GTM on rapid prototypes that move to production.
About this role
🎨 About OpenArt
OpenArt is an AI storytelling and visual creation platform used by millions of creators worldwide. We're building the next generation of creative tools powered by cutting-edge AI — enabling anyone to create videos, visuals, characters, and stories with unprecedented speed and imagination.
We believe the future of creativity is AI-native, and we're shaping that future.
🚀 Why Join OpenArt
Work at the edge of a fast-moving market — turn emerging models, creative formats, and shifts in user behavior into products while the opportunity is still new.
Small team, massive surface area — engineers own products and experiments end to end, from identifying an opportunity to shipping it to users.
Real scale, fast feedback — what you build reaches millions of creators, giving you immediate signals about what works.
Founder-led engineering culture — both founders are technical and deeply involved in product and engineering.
AI-native product — work directly with the latest image, video, and language models, and help determine how they become useful creative experiences.
High ownership, low process — we value product judgment, clarity, and speed over bureaucracy.
🎯 About the Role
We're hiring engineers to join OpenArt's engineering team and turn fast-moving market trends into products people want to use. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market — identifying emerging opportunities in generative AI, rapidly prototyping new ideas, and shipping innovative experiences while the window of opportunity is still open.
You'll contribute to OpenArt Agent and other core products, while helping build and evolve OpenArt Arena. You'll also evaluate the latest video and image generation models, understand where they excel, and translate those insights into better product capabilities and user experiences.
It is a highly product-oriented engineering role for someone who follows the market closely, develops strong opinions about where it is heading, and can turn those opinions into polished products. You'll work closely with product, design, and GTM, moving quickly from market signal to prototype to production.
🛠What You’ll Do
Contribute to the development and iteration of OpenArt Agent and other OpenArt products
Build and evolve OpenArt Arena, creating intuitive experiences for discovering, comparing, and evaluating generative AI models
Partner closely with product, design, and GTM to turn emerging market trends into compelling product capabilities
Evaluate video and image generation models across quality, capabilities, reliability, and real-world use cases
Rapidly prototype and ship innovative projects inspired by new models, technologies, creative formats, and shifts in user behavior
Build polished, production-ready frontend experiences in React and Next.js, end to end
Use product data and user feedback to determine what to improve, expand, or move on from
Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, correctness, and scalability — and communicate them clearly

The ability to move quickly from an ambiguous idea to a working prototype, and from prototype to reliable production software
Genuine interest in generative AI, creative tools, and the rapidly evolving image and video model ecosystem
A strong AI-assisted coding practice — you use tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor as a core part of how you build, and have real opinions about what makes them effective
Clear communication — you can explain what you built, why it matters, and the trade-offs behind your decisions
Nice to Have
Hands-on experience with image or video generation models
Experience designing or running model evaluations, benchmarks, or comparison systems
