Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Your mission

A Senior Software Engineer with previous industry experience. The role is for a full stack engineer in a devops culture with a strong product focus. Languages used, although knowledge is not required to hire, are Python, Typescript, SQL with frameworks Quart, React, and Postgres.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand user’s problems
• Write code to solve said problems
• Communicate with users and team members
• Review other team member’s code
• Continually improve code and understanding of code
• Work independently at times and with others (pairing) at other times
• Visit company sites to understand processes
• Develop the skills of junior software engineers

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
Manage and develop junior and software engineers in the team.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Ability to code in any language and familiarity with version control system
• Previous experience working in industry
• Product management interest
• Good technical communication skills
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Devops experience
• Ideally, management experience
• Ideally, knowledge of the technologies in our stack
