Senior Specialist - Promotor Coordination

Job Purpose

This is a business-critical role that owns end-to-end operational management of Friendi Mobile’s and Friendi Pay’s Direct Sales (Promoter) channel. The Senior Specialist – Promoter Coordination acts as the operational backbone connecting frontline promoter teams with senior leadership decision-making – driving commercial visibility, performance governance, forecasting accuracy and incentive administration across the entire channel. The role is directly accountable for translating field activity into accurate, real-time insights that protect Gross Adds, revenue and channel profitability, and for continuously improving productivity and efficiency through automation and AI-enabled ways of working – in line with Beyond ONE’s ambition to Think Beyond and Deliver for Impact.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end operational planning for the Direct Sales / Promoter channel – building daily, weekly and monthly deployment plans by team, location, location type, and channel targets (SIMs, AWRs) aligned to commercial KPIs.

• Design, build and continuously improve real-time visibility reports and executive dashboards (Excel, Power Query/Pivot, Power BI) that give Direct Sales leadership instant, accurate insight into channel, commercial and promoter performance.

• Leverage AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, prompt engineering) to automate reporting, accelerate analysis and continuously improve the efficiency and speed of channel operations.

• Calculate, validate and govern weekly and monthly promoter commissions and incentive structures, ensuring accuracy, transparency and alignment with approved commercial models; review outcomes with the Direct Sales Manager.

• Own the end-to-end promoter payment cycle, ensuring 100% timely and accurate weekly and monthly payouts.

• Act as the operational point of escalation for promoter, channel and customer issues, coordinating cross-functionally with IT, BI, Finance and Customer Care to drive fast resolution and protect channel performance.

• Develop data-driven forecasting models and target-setting methodologies for the promoter channel, improving planning accuracy and supporting sustainable Gross Add and revenue growth.

• Conduct ongoing commercial and channel performance analysis – identifying risks, gaps and growth opportunities – and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior management.

• Ensure every promoter is fully briefed and enabled on current offers, promotions, FRiENDi mobile’s unique selling points, and best-practice customer engagement, so the brand is consistently represented at its best.

• Partner with the Direct Sales Manager to plan, execute and evaluate the ROI of promotional campaigns and channel activities, optimizing budget allocation and execution quality.

• Champion continuous improvement across the promoter operating model – proactively identifying automation, AI and process opportunities that lift channel efficiency, productivity and promoter performance.

Professional qualification

• 3-5 years’ progressive experience in Sales Coordination, Sales Planning, Commercial/Business Analytics or Channel Operations within telecom or a fast-paced direct sales environment, including exposure to commission/incentive management, performance reporting and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience

Other skills

• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work with minimal supervision while managing multiple concurrent processes and deadlines.

• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, formulas, dashboard design); working knowledge of Power BI or similar BI/visualization tools is strongly preferred.

• Ability to use AI productivity tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, prompt engineering) to automate reporting, accelerate analysis and improve day-to-day efficiency.

• Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable business decisions.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Fluency in written & spoken English.
