Senior Valuer

We are looking for aReal Estate Senior Valuerto join the Valuation Management team. Working under the guidance of the Senior Manager of Valuation Management team, this role will perform valuations and underwriting activities, ensuring the highest professional standards in delivering accurate valuations, advisory insights, and financial analyses. The role combines deep valuation skills, quality assurance and valuation review procedures and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

Valuation & Advisory

• Participate in the preparation and review of valuations for complex real estate assets and portfolios.
• Review valuation reports of external valuers.
• Manage valuation teams in ad hoc client projects and portfolios.
• Provide senior-level advisory to support investment decisions, portfolio strategies, and client mandates.
• Ensure valuations comply with international standards (RICS, TEGOVA) and regulatory frameworks.
• Ensure quality assurance and compliance with company policy and procedures.
  

Reporting & Client Engagement

• Oversee the preparation of valuation reports, market analyses, and client presentations.
• Deliver insights and recommendations directly to senior management and clients, highlighting risks, opportunities, and solutions.

Business Strategy & Financial Modelling

• Develop business plans and turnaround strategies for distressed or underperforming assets.
• Build, review, and validate financial models to support investment and monetization decisions.
  

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Act as a key liaison with local authorities, regulators, and professional bodies (e.g., planning authorities, land registry).
• Maintain and expand relationships with a trusted network of external professionals (consultants, appraisers, advisors).
• Mentor and guide valuation analysts within the team, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional growth.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

• University degree in Real Estate, Economics, Real Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Planning & Development, or Property Appraisal.
• Postgraduate degree considered a strong advantage.
• Professional membership with RICS, TEGOVA-Valuer, and the Certified Valuers’ Registry of the Ministry of Finance is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in real estate valuation, advisory, or portfolio underwriting, review and valuations quality assurance.
• Proven track record of leading complex valuation projects in Greece or internationally.
• Experience in project management and team leadership strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and real estate advisory practices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with ability to guide junior team members.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple assignments, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Native-level Greek and fluency in English (written and spoken) are essential.
