Senior Workday Healthcare Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Workday Healthcare Consultant based in United States.

This role is a short-term consulting opportunity focused on strengthening security across a complex Workday environment.
You will assess existing configurations, identify security gaps, and develop practical remediation strategies.
The position requires deep knowledge of Workday’s broader suite, with a strong understanding of HR, ERP, and supply chain processes.
You will work closely with stakeholders to address security challenges and implement effective corrective actions.
The role also includes training and knowledge transfer to help teams adopt improved security practices.
This is a hands-on engagement suited to an experienced Workday professional who can quickly analyze complex environments and deliver meaningful improvements.

• Conduct a comprehensive security assessment of the Workday platform, reviewing existing configurations, processes, and access controls.
• Identify, document, and analyze security challenges, with particular attention to HR-related processes and workflows.
• Review current Workday configurations, determine root causes of identified issues, and recommend appropriate remediation strategies.
• Implement corrective actions to address security gaps and improve the effectiveness of existing security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align Workday security processes with organizational requirements and business objectives.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to relevant stakeholders to promote proper adoption of security protocols and improved processes.
• Support knowledge transfer and process improvement initiatives throughout the engagement.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of professional experience in Workday, ERP, HR technology, security, or closely related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Workday’s full suite, excluding Workforce Management.
• Solid experience with Workday security, HR processes, ERP environments, and supply chain processes.
• Demonstrated experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex HR-related security challenges.
• Strong ability to assess complex systems, identify weaknesses, determine root causes, and implement effective improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a short-term consulting environment.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent training and knowledge-transfer capabilities, including the ability to explain technical and security concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
