About this role

We're looking for an SEO Specialist who actually understands how search works — not someone who recites best practices, but someone who thinks in systems, tests assumptions, and knows why a page ranks or doesn't. You'll own SEO for a portfolio of client websites, working alongside content and development teams to build long-term organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-page optimizations across client sites
Perform keyword research, gap analysis, and competitor benchmarking
Build and manage content plans aligned with topical authority and search intent
Monitor rankings, traffic, and Core Web Vitals; identify and act on trends
Develop and execute link-building strategies
Optimize for both traditional search and generative engine visibility (AI overviews, SGE)
Prepare performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with content writers and developers to ensure correct implementation

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Solid foundational knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog
Understanding of HTML/CSS basics as they relate to SEO
Ability to read and interpret GA4 data
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Analytical mindset — able to isolate variables and run experiments
Experience with SEO campaigns (personal projects count)
