Lapper Kitchen + Sports Bar is where the game is always on, the drinks are cold, and the food is meant to be enjoyed with friends. We are looking for a Part-Time Server who knows how to keep guests happy, tables moving, and the good times going.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service from hello to check
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Make menu recommendations and answer questions about food and beverages
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Check in with guests throughout their experience and anticipate their needs
• Maintain clean, organized and properly set tables
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar and fellow team members to keep service running smoothly
• Follow all food safety, alcohol service and resort standards
• Help create an energetic environment where guests want to come back

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hospitality serving experience preferred
• A genuine desire to take care of people
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to handle multiple tables and priorities at once
• A team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
• Must meet applicable age requirements for alcohol service

The Physical Stuff

You will spend a good portion of your shift on your feet, moving throughout the restaurant, carrying trays, reaching, bending and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
