Design Temp of Florida is looking for an organized and dependable Service Dispatcher who can keep technicians on schedule, communicate clearly with customers, and ensure every service call receives proper follow-up. HVAC dispatch experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience in plumbing, electrical, or a similar service trade are encouraged to apply.

Your New Role

• Work on site as a Service Dispatcher in Tampa, Florida 33634.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers scheduling HVAC service calls.

• Schedule, dispatch, and track service technicians throughout the day.

• Monitor technician availability and help maintain efficient routing and productivity.

• Debrief technicians after service calls and document relevant updates.

• Communicate clearly with customers, technicians, and field support staff.

• Proactively call customers with scheduling updates and service information.

• Follow up with customers after service is completed or an estimate is provided.

• Order parts and coordinate repair scheduling with customers and technicians.

• Prepare and send repair quotes as needed.

• Complete billing and invoicing for the service department.

• Maintain accurate refrigerant logs and service records.

• Enter and update information accurately within company systems.

• Adapt to schedule changes, delays, emergencies, and competing priorities in a fast paced service environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of dispatching experience

• Dispatch experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a similar service trade is strongly preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Comfortable making outbound calls and proactively following up with customers

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, email, and general computer systems

• Ability to learn and navigate the company’s CRM and dispatching systems

• Accurate data-entry and recordkeeping skills

• Dependable, adaptable, and able to remain organized in a fast-paced environment

• Must be able to work on-site in Tampa, Florida

• Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday
