Execute daily warehouse receiving, fulfillment, and inventory activities to ensure accurate receiving, efficient picking, clean documentation, safe operations, and timely transfer of parts while supporting inventory integrity and departmental service levels.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Dock-to-Stock
- Receive inbound shipments accurately and in a timely manner; verify quantities and part numbers; document and report discrepancies.
- Meet dock-to-stock expectations to ensure parts are available for customer orders and intercompany transfers.
Pick/Pack/Ship Execution
- Pick, package, and stage orders accurately to minimize shipping errors and damage.
- Load and verify daily shuttle trucks to ensure accurate and on-time intercompany transfers.
- Load outbound shipments on time to meet transfer cutoffs.
Documentation + Claims Support
- Ensure paperwork complete daily (BOLs, packing lists, receiving docs).
- Provide documentation supporting freight claims and vendor credits.
Safety + Standard Work
- Follow and reinforce DC safety standards (forklift, PPE, dock safety).
- Escalate unsafe conditions immediately.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
Warehouse Organization & Inventory Accuracy
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, dock, and receiving areas.
- Put away received inventory promptly and accurately.
- Maintain bin location accuracy and report location discrepancies.
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory projects.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support warehouse and dealership operations.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
- Basic computer, data entry, and inventory system skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork.
