Shop Assistant - Part-Time at SPAR Youghal

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Shop Assistant to join our team at SPAR Youghal on a part-time basis. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

• Providing excellent customer service

• Operating the till and handling cash transactions

• Assisting with stock replenishment and merchandising

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store

• Supporting colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the store

• Follow company policies and procedures at all times

Successful applicant must be over the age of 18 due to the sale of Alcohol and Tobacco products.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Part-time position, approximately 16 to 25 hours per week

• Must be available to work weekdays and weekends

• Flexible availability is required, including day and evening shifts
