Shop Hand

Precision Well Servicing is currently hiring a Shop Hand to join our team at our Grand Prairie facility - 10221 79 Ave, Clairmont, AB T8X 5B2.

Precision Well Servicing is the largest service rig provider in Canada, with an impressive fleet of equipment, service rig professionals and strong relationships with top-tier companies.

This position will report to our Fleet Mechanical Manager and will be responsible for assisting with the daily upkeep and maintenance in our Grand Prairie shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform local pick up and delivery of parts and supplies.
• Stock incoming parts and materials.
• Perform seasonal maintenance in/around the facility, including shovelling snow on exterior walkways.
• Perform general repairs using hand tools.
• Perform monthly facility inspections.
• Assist shop and operations personnel as required.
• Assist with hot shot deliveries, including out of town deliveries.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and commitment to our safety culture.
• Valid Class 5 Driver License, Class 3 is an asset.
• Provide a 5-year Commercial Drivers Abstract.
• Mechanically inclined with experience operating hand tools.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry in accordance with company polices and applicable safety legislation. There can be repetitive motions for long periods of time such as standing and kneeling.
