Site Engineer | Luxury Residential Projects | Athens

Work4u is seeking an experienced Site Engineer, on behalf of a well-established construction company specializing in high-end private developments, to join its team in Athens.

The company delivers premium residential projects, including luxury villas and exclusive residences, as well as selected hospitality developments across Greece.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, driving execution on site, and making critical day-to-day decisions that ensure quality, efficiency, and timely project delivery. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in the operational management of construction sites and act as the main point of coordination for all on-site activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day execution of construction works, ensuring projects progress according to schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Take ownership of on-site decision-making, proactively resolving technical and operational challenges.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure strict compliance with construction specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
Review drawings, technical documentation, and site conditions, proposing practical engineering solutions whenever necessary.
Participate in planning activities, resource allocation, procurement coordination, and cost control alongside the Project Manager.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across the construction site.

Requirements

BSc in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the construction industry.
Proven experience delivering residential construction projects, ideally luxury villas or high-end residential developments.
Demonstrated experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Fluency in both Greek and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and consultants.
Valid driving licence.
